Thomas, the third child of William and Sarah, married Susan of Asgarby (born around 1829).
Nothing has been found of them until the 1881 census when they are recorded as living at 2 The Yard, off North Street, Horncastle, and ten years later they were at 16 Hopton Street, Horncastle. On each of these occasions they are recorded as being on their own; Thomas's sisters Martha and Rebecca have not been traced.
