Cyril Espin, son of Alfred Edward married Nellie Coupland.     Nellie died on 19 December 1934 aged 28; Cyril died on 3 June 1940 aged 36.  Both are interred at Louth.

They had six children:

•  Joan, married George Cash               
•  Mary, married William Wyers         
•   Pauline, married James Thornton   
•  Derek                                                      
•  Alfred Edward aka Pete/Peter
•   Michael

Cyril followed his father Alfred into the service of the Louth Brigade in 1933 and the two went out together on 'shouts' until dad's retirement in 1941.

Tragically Cyril died at age 36 before he could make the lengthy contribution his father had done.
